Default We Saw The Top And Now It Drops More - Does Trump Really Care?

We Saw The Top And Now It Drops - Does Trump Really Care?

Excerpt: U.S. stocks plunged on Monday in their worst day of Christmas Eve trading ever, as the S&P 500 entered a bear market.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped by 653 points Monday in volatile trading, falling below 22,000. The Dow sank more than 2 percent, then recovered nearly all of the day's losses, before again falling more than 2 percent. The S&P 500 fell 2.7 percent, slipping into a bear market as it fell 20.06 percent from recent highs. Wall Street traditionally considers a drop of 20 percent or more from recent highs to be a bear market. The Nasdaq Composite Index slid 2.2 percent.

Trump had urged the fed not to raise interest rates. They did by 0.25%. He believed this move would be a negative for the economy.

So what does Trump do? He was going to pass a budget until some folks on the far-right wanted wall funding for the Mexico border placed into the bill. Trump decided not to pass the budget and hold out for wall funding. Now the government is officially shut down with government workers not getting paid.

To recap:

1.) The stock market was clearly a bubble. It popped and is now in bear territory now.

2.) Trump urged the fed not to raise interest rates. They did.

3.) Trump went back on passing a budget and wants wall funding and has aided in shutting down the government; meaning people won't be getting paid.

All three of these things happened at once within weeks of one another. This is supposed to be the time for a Christmas rally. Instead its all guns aimed at the market to hurt America (from one point of view) or hold America hostage and use this situation as a tool for the political blame game.

Either way... The People suffer.
